Hi! I'm Adrienne Inger, Registered Dietitian.
I provide nutrition counseling for a variety of medical and mental-health related issues. I specialize in eating disorders, nutrition for gastrointestinal issues, PCOS, reproductive and hormonal health, thyroid disease, diabetes, sports nutrition, and neuro-inclusive nutrition.
Knowing what and how to eat when you have health issues is immensely challenging. I am deeply committed to helping people improve their mental and physical health with dietary and mindset change – by eating food they love with body awareness and respect to their unique health needs. Additionally, I will collaborate with your health care team to ensure that you are taking all the steps needed for improved health and peace of mind.
I am always learning, collaborating, and presenting on topics related to my areas of specialty. As well as being a member to several professional groups including the American Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, I am an active participant in a professional consultation group with leading gastrointestinal specialist dietitians. I am a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor (CIEC). I am a member of Eating Disorder Registered Dietitians and Professionals (EDRDPro) and Weight Inclusive Nutrition and Dietetics (WIND). I am currently completing certification in diabetes care and education. Additionally, I am proficient in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).
My academic track began at the University of Maryland, College Park, where I earned a Bachelors degree of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. I then completed a clinical dietetic internship at a UCLA-affiliated hospital in Los Angeles, California. Clinical experience includes nutrition counseling in a variety of settings, including a position as chief dietitian at an intensive therapeutic program for college students and young adults. I have been a lead dietitian at Dr. Daisy & Co since the practice was founded in 2017.
I welcome anyone, regardless of age, race, ability, size, gender identity or sexual orientation.
