Hi there! I'm Adrienne, a licensed dietitian nutritionist. I love helping adolescents and adults overcome their challenges with food. Whatever the food, body image, or nutrition concern, we will solve it together with a learning and implementation style that works for YOU. I have a decade of experience helping adolescents and adults feel better knowing what, when, and how to eat.
I am deeply committed to helping people eat food they love with respect to their unique mental and physical health needs. Additionally, I will collaborate with your health care team to ensure that you are taking all the steps needed for improved health and peace of mind.
Working with teens requires special training. Like all of us at Dr. Daisy & Co, we have spent years learning psycho-therapeutic models we can use with adolescents who are struggling with food. I am always learning, collaborating, and presenting on topics related to my areas of specialty. As well as being a member to several professional groups including the American Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, I am an active participant in a professional consultation group with leading gastrointestinal specialist dietitians. I am a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor (CIEC) and member of Eating Disorder Registered Dietitians and Professionals (EDRDPro).
My academic track began at the University of Maryland, College Park, where I earned a Bachelors degree of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. I then completed a clinical dietetic internship at a UCLA-affiliated hospital in Los Angeles, California. Clinical experience includes nutrition counseling in a variety of settings, including a position as chief dietitian at an intensive therapeutic program for college students and young adults. I have been a lead dietitian at Dr. Daisy & Co since the practice was founded in 2017.
I welcome anyone, regardless of age, race, ability, size, gender identity or sexual orientation. Let's work together!
