Hi! I'm Laurie Dunham. I am a Certified Eating Disorder Dietitian (CEDS-S) with specialty areas in sports nutrition, pediatrics, PCOS, and body image. My pronouns are she/her/hers.

As an eating disorder dietitian with over 20 years of nutrition therapy experience, I am dedicated to helping individuals improve their relationship with food and their body.

My philosophy is heavily rooted in a non-diet, Health at Every Size® approach and I enjoy working with adolescents and adults struggling with
disordered eating, eating disorders, PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome), sports nutrition and selective eating (ARFID)

I strive to provide a safe place for my clients to work towards sustainable recovery. As a Be Body Positive Licensed group facilitator I weave body acceptance work into the counseling I do, as appropriate. I feel privileged to have partnered with many families over the years to facilitate the renourishment of their adolescent’s body and mind. I have a great deal of experience working with athletes and individuals who have taken “healthy eating” too far.

My passion for working with the eating disorder population began very early in my career at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Being a dietitian on the outpatient multidisciplinary Eating Disorder Treatment Team provided me with countless learning and teaching opportunities. Over the years, this position included some inpatient work and my heart was always happiest utilizing the counseling and therapeutic interventions I could implement as an outpatient provider. On and off over the past decade I’ve worked with adults and adolescents through consulting or private practice work. Most recently, I was a Nutrition Manager at Eating Recovery Center and was reminded again of my love for outpatient clinical work. I could not be more excited to join Dr. Daisy and the amazing professionals working with her in the practice.

I earned my Bachelor's of Science degree in Health and Sport Studies from Miami University and a Master’s of Science degree in Medical Dietetics from the Ohio State University where I also completed my Dietetic Internship.

In my spare time, I love doing anything outdoors and traveling to new places with my family and friends.

I welcome anyone, regardless of age, race, ability, size, gender identity or sexual orientation.
